The April A-Z Challenge is a month-long blogging challenge, where every participant posts a blog on a topic starting with A on 1st, B on 2nd and so on. We get the Sundays free. You can read more about it here.
“You come here often?”
Layla was completely immersed in her paperback novel when she heard the voice. She looked up to find a boy around her age, crossing his legs at the ankles and leaning casually against the pole of the swing she is seated in.
“This is supposed to be my private space. Not anymore, I guess.” she huffed and was ready to leave.
“Hey, wait up! I’m Elliot. I’m new here and I find this far corner of the park calm and nice. You mind if I share it?”
She doesn’t exactly feel like having a company, but a cute guy is hard to say no to. She nodded.
“Thanks!” he said with a twinkle in eyes and came forward to sit in the adjacent swing.
She would have never guessed only she was able to see him anymore. No one else will. He was supposed to remain in the photos.
This post has been written for the April A to Z Challenge 2015 that I revealed here.
