Get To Know Me Tag

Okay, I was reading a lot of amazing blogs out there and found several blog tags and collaborations! (Yes, you will see a collab here soon! Also comment below if you’d want to collab, we’ll work it out ❤ )

That’s when I came across this tag. The questions are informal and casual. And although I wasn’t tagged, why not give it a shot! So here we go :

  1. Are you named after anyone? 

No. Everyone in my father’s family has a single name and everyone has a first and second name in my mother’s side. So dad came up with Shameem and was content with it. But Mum was looking for something to go along, and my uncle suggested a name he came across then – Rizwana. It seemed to gel together, so here I am. *waves energetically*

  1. When was the last time you cried? 

I cry a lot. I might be spewing hatred at you and still have tears flowing down my face. Don’t think I’m breaking down for a second. -_- I just cannot coordinate my emotions sometimes. *frustrated sigh*

Well, the last time I cried was…umm, let me think. Just kidding. Day before yesterday.

I was watching a video on YouTube with my mum – On How dogs welcome back their owners who left for the Army. I was a wreck after that. It was soooo lovely. I’ve linked it for you here. Watch and cry =)

  1. Do you have kids?

Nope. Not even married. Well, it doesn’t necessarily happen in that order, well whatever.

  1. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? 

Okay. I honestly don’t know. It depends on the kind of person I am going to be. Sharu is a bookworm who likes to blog, watch TV shows and read ebooks till 3AM. If I’m a chatty, always texting a million people and checking-in with every X,Y and Z in the city kind of person,I wouldn’t want to be friends with Sharu =)

  1. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

*nods guiltily*

  1. Will you ever bungee-jump?

Hell no. I have a vivid image of the rope splitting or extending or whatever and my skull crashing into the mountainous terrain. I don’t wanna go down like that.

  1. What’s your favorite cereal? 

Chocos. Hands down.

  1. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

I am not a great conversation starter. So when I give an awkward pause after a sentence, I get very excited if someone just picks up another topic to chat about. They are my favorite kind of people.  So I see if they actually take the effort to do that. 🙂

Material things, I check out the person’s complete OOTD. Cause according to me, the amount of care you take in your dressing reciprocates to how much you respect yourself. This doesn’t mean you have to be dressed-UP all the time, you just have to take the EFFORT to dress down sometimes.  =)

I’m copyrighting that sentence officially :O LOL.

  1. What is your eye color? 

Black. When the sun shines straight on my face, it’s brown. I don’t know if it happens to everyone.

  1. Scary movie or happy endings?

Happy Endings. No matter how cliché is is. I can even sacrifice a happy ending, but I just cant watch a horror flick. Nope.

  1. Favorite smells? 

When Rain Touches The Earth, Petrol, Varnish, Toni & Guy Hairspray.

Now, THAT’S a mix.

  1. Summer or winter?

I’ve never experienced sweater weather in this part of the country where I live. I’d love to wear leggings, cardigan and wrap a scarf around my neck and wear ankle boots all year long. So yeah, Winter!

  1. Computer or television?

Computer. I even watch TV shows on my laptop.

  1. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. And ofcourse, it didn’t snow that year that month. #suchawaste

  1. Do you have any special talents?

I’m a fast reader. I used to draw a lot. Though I have lost touch now. So I don’t really think I’m talented. Now that deflates my ego-_-

  1. What are your hobbies?

Reading. Blogging. Endless scrolling on Pinterest and Instagram. TV shows.

  1. Do you have any pets?

No. I love cats! I can cuddle them to death. But recently I’ve been wanting a puppy. But I still love cats.

I don’t even know what pet I want. I’m positively messed up.

  1. Favorite movie?

The Theory of Everything. Now You See Me, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Imitation Game.

  1. Do you have any siblings?

No.

  1. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Happy. In whatever I do, where ever I am. =)

  6. I never realized how tall you were until I saw this full length pic 😉 or is it just the angle of the picture taken that’s making u look tall 😀
    Anyways, tall girls…what’s that about…so many I see around these days..it’s gonna be difficult to find guys as tall u know.. 🙂
